Kaden
Kaden was born on September 8th of 2007! Our family is now complete! We’ve had many ups and downs that many preemie parents face. However at around 2 weeks old his BUN and CREATINE levels were way too high. They thought dialysis would be the ONLY way for him to survive & he was too small for surgery. Knowing Tiffany had similar issues in the beginning, I then decided I would be positive and I brought in a HUGE pile of Tiffany’s medical records from her ICU stay and of course, decided that wasn’t going to happen to us! It surprised the doctors how similar they really were and said it then looked promising and with many prayers – he improved drastically on his own and in a short amount of time! More info will be in a medical info section later – right now we are just having fun watching him grow and explore – and GROW so fast!
How we chose his name
The first thought was to find one that started with a “T” since sisters name is Tiffany. Trey was a name we actually considered but (no offense) we thought is was more for a colored nationality – could be wrong. But, I just looked up name ideas on the internet and wrote some down. Kaden was both of our choices that we liked and agreed on! The middle name was actually going to be Ambrose and we then decided to change it to Cornelius because (nickname of K.C.) and most importantly it is a family name that we wanted to honor and pass on to our little guy!
Interests
Current (2011)…. His sister Tiffany, they are always playing together! Cars, Cars, Cars (and more cars!), He loves wrestling, fighting, riding his bike, tools – trying to fix things, trying to skateboard and pretty much tries everything. He is all “boy”! (accept when Tif makes him play house or barbies that is. lol.) He says he wants to be a “Cop – Dad” when he grows up. He wants to carry tickets in his wallet and when he sees a car go to fast… he says… ” that car is going way too fast” oddly enough, when he says this, he is right. too funny! Good thing I’ve learned to pretty much do the speed limit all the time. lol.
(not sure when I posted this last – want to say when he was 1 1/2 years old I think!)…His sister Tiffany, likes playing with toys/cars, watching cartoons, crawling around and getting at the dog food dish and water, loves peek a boo and give me “five”. September: Current interests: Sister – Sponge Bob – Dora – Eating Chocolate and Potato Chips – Takes about 6 steps almost walks on own!!
