So, a few weekends ago we went to Utah for the kids doctor apt. We decided we’d better do it now before the snow hits. We left on Thursday morning and came back on Sunday. We had a 2 night free stay a resort. We had to sit through a time share deal though and that was not easy, in fact, we almost didn’t make it through the first 5 minutes. Because I was answering no to everything! ha. Do you want to save money? “no!” Do you want to be happy? “no!” yeah, that’s how it went. Anyway, we made it through and we did NOT purchase anything, nor could we anyway. It was in Park City. Saturday we went to Provo, Orem Utah and stayed at LaQuinta Inn and Suites, it was their Homecoming so it was a bit crazy for traffic, but we went to a mall, and Cabela’s and now my new favorite store… IKEA! Their doc apt. went well and they are both gaining and growing – slowly – on their own curve, but they are really doing well.

So, on Oct. 19th – we got a new vehicle! Basically because we needed one – both our vehicles were broke down for a bit and we knew neither one could make it there and back and the Durango front end just isn’t safe for me to drive anymore. The money we save on gas practically pays for the payment so that helps and makes it worth it! It is an 06 Nissan Murano and I love it! It is pearl white and we got it the day before our 14th Anniversary. Nice present, hey? (now we just have to pay for it)

It was nice and somewhat relaxing, at least we weren’t rushing back to Colorado and worrying about going back to work for once and had some extra days off.
