We went to Utah on Sunday, March 30th since kids had their doc apt. Monday afternoon. We took the Suburban. The weather held up til we got there, then it started snowing. We went further than Salt Lake to Roy, UT hoping to try this famous drive in which was closed! Then we headed back only a little bit since the weather was bad and stayed in Layton, UT at a Mariott. It was pretty nice and always nice to get away, kinda like a very much needed mini vacation. We didn’t get back til 11:30pm Mon. night and Rob had to work at 3am next day though!
The insurance actually DENIED their visit to Utah, but we had to go anyway. It was planned, Tif was on spring break, Rob is off Mondays and it just worked out. But, now I have to appeal it and see what happens. There is no way we are going back to the doc in Denver again!
We had our lovely neighbors down the way let our dogs out while we were gone. (thank you!:)) They did fine and I’m sure they were spoiled as usual. I will post pics of them SOON. I need to shave them again, I think we are going to shave them all the way down and then upkeep them since they go too fluffy before we bought our new razor, which I guess is why I didn’t post pics lately.
Monday we had some time and we drove around and went to a Harley store, a mall and out to eat for lunch and then to dinner after apt. at Red Robin, so that was nice. Roads were clear too, so we had good timing that way! Crazy weather.
Kids apt. went fine! No changes in medicine at all. Kaden we may try a different over the counter med for constipation and that is about it really. Doc says they’ll probably always remain small. Tif didn’t want to hear that and said she didn’t want to be small. But, I tell her that’s ok, you have a big heart. (and she says yeah and feels better.) aaaah. such a sweet girl!
No luck on job front at all which is making me crazy – how long can it take to find a job? pleeaaz. I’m not even being picky. I got my turn down from Radio Shack, guess I’m not qualified to sell gadgets. (ha.) I hope something happens soon. I even tried selling stuff on e-bay (usually I do well) and nothing!
Here’s a few pictures… basically of pool, bike shop, oh… and elk we saw on the way back and wind mills that are huge and neat – had to take a picture. If we had those, we had no electric bill at all here!
We got the rest of our siding shipped in, so we hope to get that started and finished soon and maybe just paint the blue concrete forms for now for pictures and finished look – later on we can stone that, but it’s too costly and time consuming right now. Still hoping to find a loan or refinance to make this work better, we are so dang close!
Have a great rest of the week!
Jen
