SUNDAY, AUGUST 23rd, Tiffany lost her first tooth!!! FINALLY! I thought I’d never see the day! ha. She wanted to lose a tooth all of last year in school, so this was a great start! She is sooo happy. Dad helped her pull it out. So, she has this handy little jar to save it in. She was wondering why the tooth fairy didn’t take this tooth. I told her that the tooth fairy probably knows that it is special and mom’s crazy and needs to save it in a special jar. hee hee.

We are TRYING to teach her to save her money, but as soon as she gets any, she wants to spend it! Since this was a special occasion, I let her get away with it and took her to Target after karate on Monday evening. She got a Pet Shop toy with a hamster like cage and has several little pet shop figures with it. She now owes me $5.00 more now so she’ll be doing some chores for awhile.

TODAY, Thursday we had an open house to go to at her school and saw her classroom and met her teacher. So far, so good! She is really enjoying it and is doing VERY well!! AND keeping up with others as well. I think we’ll be limiting any special need classes soon I hope because I’ve felt (last year in particular) it took away from learning in the classroom and actually became more confusing for her. So, I’ll be keeping a close eye on things this year and hope to solve that issue. We are so happy that she is finally getting closer to being caught up to her level and she tries very hard!!!
