Just when we think we are doing okay – despite much work that needs to be done – we end up with another problem. We didn’t have water all week & Rob has been working and checking on it every single evening til late. It’s been crazy. We got water (in basement) so I’d heat it up on a kettle to wash up and wash my hair! And put some water in the fridge for Kaden & Tif to drink water.
So, we bought a huge 450 gallon white plastic cistern deal to put in the basement. Rob had to take apart door to fit it in. But, we ended up finding that a part was broke inside our water pump motor. (after all this time) I really didn’t want to buy this huge plastic water holder. But, we should always have water (just in case) we lose pressure or something happens again – which is possible. We are at the end of a water line so we get the grunt and air bubbles and probably not as much pressure when others are using water. Plus, it’s gotta go up a big hill as well, so I think it’ll all work out fine. We are waiting on another part and/or a new pump to get everything working okay. We can still use it for now though.
We need to continue to work on our house and make it look more finished! Hard to do when you don’t get the extra funds needed to finish and then we have stuff happen that takes priority! Rob’s tires are down to past the rubber too, so we have to get tires this weekend or on Monday! Durango needs the heater fixed too. Always something!
