Every week I think I’m going to post and the days go by so fast, we just seem to get busier and busier lately. A few weeks ago, Tif lost her other front tooth. The kids both got their flu shots last week and this week we got our adult ones in which Rob worked paid for them all. Tif had picture day at school which is always exciting – I took some pictures at home that morning and of course that is what I’ll include today. Tif got 100% on a spelling test about 3 weeks ago too and was very happy and so thrilled, the teacher even called me. I think she’ll ace another one tomorrow.
She continues to do karate 3 evenings a week, this week we had off Mon and Wedn. so it was a break in running to town. And she had another b-day party to go to last weekend.
Kaden is enjoying his little time he does spend at pre-school and last week they went to the park and he talked about the leaves and they fed the ducks. Then he was telling stories to others about dad and fixing truck or something.
Both our vehicles have had issues lately. Durango I had a tire bust so I had to get 2 different ones – not the best tread, but better than nothing. The front end is horrible and it doesn’t drive the greatest since the axle or entire unit needs to be re-done. The brakes went on it too in front, but Rob repaired that. The Suburban completely died and Rob borrowed a friends vehicle for a week. He changed wires, distributor cap and the starter needed to be repaired. It is now running again, but all the lights remain on. This vehicle has over 200k miles on it though and we didn’t plan on even keeping it this long.
So, we are STILL waiting for news on a loan for our home. EVERY week I think we’ll hear something, but I’ve been saying that every week for a year now and it’s getting old and beyond stressful. I’ve had it listed for sale as well (not by choice), but not much is selling anyway. Hopefully something comes along soon and needs to before Dec.1st! If not, maybe we’ll flee the country. haha. We can make payments, we just need permanent financing and that is what is most frustrating – besides we have a few loans to pay off yet that we need included, but we hope it works out – we’d like to stay – we worked too dang hard to get where we’re at!
I continue to search for work and Rob is looking around a bit too just to see what is out there and search for something better. I guess we always want more, doesn’t everyone? ha. We actually just want our home for one, a reliable vehicle and extra $ to start saving! I think that is reasonable. Anyway, are really looking forward to going to Utah soon for the kids doc apt. and being off work for a few days – we are taking an extra day or so and extra night in hotel, so no hurrying around this time – a little mini vacation and can’t wait – not sure what we’ll do, but we’ll find something.
Dogs are doing fine and were just shaved so they tend to get more attention when they are all clean and groomed! They aren’t too thrilled, but I have Halloween bandanas around them. haha. I’ll post pictures soon. Speaking of Halloween, Tif is going to be Super Girl this year! Not sure on Kaden yet.
I had a web-site project I worked on for a company and I’m thrilled on how it turned out! Check it out at http://www.uvkills.com and tell me what you think! It was a fun site to do and I was happy to get the business, that is for sure! Wish I could find a lot more projects like that!
Here’s some pictures of Tif for viewing…I’ll post again soon and will have others.
