Hoppy – The Baby Bunny

Tiffany adopted a baby bunny from her teacher at school. The day we picked it up was the day I volunteered at Kaden’s school – so I left to pick up Tif and we brought the bunny back to Kaden’s class. Tif sat up front and answered any questions the kids had – it was very cute!
Hoppy is doing very well and is very friendly. One of his eyes was scratched by the mom bunny and the eye remains a different shade – almost as if it may be blind in one eye, hoping it heals or comes back to normal, but it seems like it has improved.
We have the cage up high in Tif’s room and keep the dogs out of there most of the time since we are pretty sure they’d consider Hoppy for dinner.
Not much news on anything else – balloon mortgage due on Dec.1st – we’ve faced reality that whatever happens, happens. We are willing to give up our home – whether we get lucky and sell it ASAP, get the loan extended to be more affordable or let the bank have it. Either way, we can’t wait to get rid of this stress and burden (not our home – but that is part of it unfortunately). Thanks for the good thoughts and keep your fingers crossed – one more miracle would be nice.
