It was our 13th Anniversary yesterday and this was the movie that we watched that we rented. We didn’t do too much besides work and get new tires for the Suburban. Tires are made of oil (and gold???) – man, they are expensive now – I think the tires are worth more than the vehicle right now.
Anyway, MAD MONEY – was such a good movie! And I recommend you rent it!! It was the type of movie that was great timing and just what I needed, let me tell ya!
So, our weekend of taking a drive and looking at colors didn’t work out – and honestly all we would of saw was black. We got some bad news Friday and since then we’ve been trying to figure out some things and hopefully move forward and get all our apples in a basket, so to speak. The world has changed in the past year or so and it hasn’t helped our construction project and now our funding for a permanent loan, it’s completely crazy – though not unexpected in many ways, but still a shocker and put a huge damper on things. But, since we are immune to this Catch 22 stuff in just about every aspect of our lives – I guess the bad never seems as bad anymore and if things would of went smoothly – we would of been more worried. Sad, isn’t it?? hee. hee.
Again, I hear the words of Tif – Do the best you can, mom & certainly that is all I need to hear and that is what we’ll continue to do and it’ll work out!! So, I’m continuing to search for work, whether it be inside or outside the home and hope something promising turns up very soon! I have soo many ideas for web-sites & in general to work from home. Rob says I should sell on-line (ebay, etc.) – basically become a professional rummager! It’s true, I actually would like to do this. I seem to find good deals at rummages & know what to buy. (thanks mom) Anyway, I’ve been thinking about it more lately and we’ll see. I have a ton of stuff -mainly kid clothes that we have here and I’m going to start with that & some other goodies and see what happens. Just as an example – I got a very nice Moen faucet for our laundry sink for $2. It was like new – even on sale at Home Depot, this same one was $140. Now, if I can find deals like that and re-sell, I’d be doing pretty well!!
Anyway, somehow and someway I’ll figure out a way to make some money!!! … before I go mad that is!!! Watch Mad Money & have a great week!
